The upcoming Maruti Suzuki eVX electric car prototype has been spotted testing in Europe. Co-developed with Toyota, the Maruti Suzuki eVX electric SUV is Maruti's first full electric concept. The company has already showcased the eVX electric concept car and it is now in the testing phase.Based on a new dedicated EV platform jointly developed with Toyota, the eVX electric SUV concept is Maruti Suzuki's first global electric SUV. It will be powered by a 60 kWh battery pack offering up to 550 km of driving range on a single charge. The eVX is expected to be more powerful and efficient than the competition.
As far as the dimensions are concerned, the eVX concept will measure 4,300mm long, 1,800mm wide and 1,600mm high, which is almost the same as the current-gen Creta. The eVX electric compact SUV will compete with the likes of MG ZS EV, Mahindra XUV400, Citroen eC3 Aircross, upcoming Hyundai Creta EV and Mahindra BE.05.The eVX is scheduled to launch by 2025 in India.
